Songs of the Garden

The Intimate World of Songbirds and Small Wonders

Size is no measure of wonder. The smallest birds on Earth possess some of the most extraordinary adaptations, the most complex songs, and the most intricate social lives in the animal kingdom. This intimate exhibition invites you to look closely at the birds that share our daily lives yet rarely receive the attention they deserve.

A celebration of the small birds that fill our gardens and woodlands with song — from the beloved European Robin to the jewel-like Superb Fairywren of Australia.
